Journaling isn’t about perfection; it’s about presence. A few quiet moments with your journal can anchor your day and help your thoughts find space to breathe.
This last fortnight, I have encouraged you to start a daily journaling habit with me. I’ve shared gentle, realistic ways to build a daily journaling habit that fit beautifully into your busy, everyday life over on the blog and here.
How did it go? Hopefully you managed to make space for quiet reflection, gentle gratitude, and the kind of journaling that doesn’t ask for perfection, only presence.
This post is here to remind you, that you cannot fail. It doesn’t matter if you get out of the habit and need to start again – your journal will still be there when you’re ready. I have journaled since I was a girl, sometimes daily and sometimes… not. As you can see from this page in my 2023 journal. There was a gap of over a month at this point and that is okay. It’s a work in progress, not perfection – just like me!
