I had a wonderful day with one of my best friends today. Catching up and soaking in some R&R, to get us charged up before the summer holidays begin. After a lovely time in the spa we sat by the pool reading and I finished this amazing book by @amytangerine.
Let me tell you about this book… Firstly, full disclosure, I bought this book when it released in 2018. It’s sat (looking beautiful) on my bookshelf for FIVE YEARS 🙈 I’m ashamed to admit that, but it’s true. Then a few weeks ago, I had a train ride down to Manchester, going to @journalfestuk, and I picked it up to read on the train, maybe… Well, I was hooked in no time! I read 3/4 of it that weekend and the last quarter by the pool today. And let me tell you, it is SO good. SO many utter gems in it. It’s inspired and challenged me in fantastic ways. I can whole heartedly recommend you read it. (And I especially love what Amy says about journaling on page 107!) If you are looking to be inspired in your craft – whatever your craft may be, and in living a positive happy life, I really believe this book will help! I wish I’d read it five years ago when I bought it, but I’m also really pleased to read it NOW. (I’m also thinking maybe I should read all the other pretty looking unread creative books on my shelves 😂)
