1 Corinthians 9v22 [ESV] “… I have become all things to all people, that by all means I might save some.“

To me, this doesn’t mean “fake it” and be a different person and character to each person you meet, but simply meet people where THEY are, rather than expecting people to meet your standards and expectations… After all, that’s is what JESUS did!
