Grace & Salt ink

It feels good to catch up with the last few days of my reading plan, my rhythm has been a bit out of sync since Easter! I love the image created by John 20:22
“…he breathed on them and said to them “receive the Holy Spirit.” [ESV]
The image of Jesus breathing out over his tired, scared and probably confused disciples and what this would have done for them!

It also makes me cry out “breathe on me breathe of God!”
