Project Lent 2015 Winner

The winner of Project Lent 2015 is… Laura Scott!! Congratulations Laura, I will be getting in touch shortly about sending the prize out to you!

For those of you wondering how the winner was chosen let me explain. Since project lent picked up a bit of speed I have been really concerned about ‘the right person’ winning. My prayer has always been to really bless and encourage someone in the journey of Bible journaling as it’s something that has really been a blessing to me and my walk with God. As more and more people entered and told me more of their stories I knew I could not pick the winner as I had originally thought I would – by me picking a name from the list after feeling prompted by God. I had to leave it to God via an electronic random number generator! Which is what I did, I put everyone in a spreadsheet in the order that I received their entries and then used an online random number generator.

Before I pressed “generate” I prayed for the Lord to lead the numbers… When it came out as Laura I was excited but also perplexed. One thing I didn’t want, was for the giveaway to look fixed – and to have someone I have already public thanked for encouraging me in the journey … well it looks bad doesn’t it!? So [please forgive me Laura!] I pressed “generate” again!! And the second number to come out, was Laura’s second entry! So at that point I laughed and said “okay God, it’s Laura!”

So there you go, confirmed by God, our winner is the lovely Laura!
