To explain, my @SewCosy Instagram was set up along side my little sewing business before I became a Mother. These days I am not doing much sewing, partly down to the fact I am spending all day chasing around after a toddler with the sweetest smile and most infectious laugh! Partly down to the lack of sewing table since we moved, hopefully with the new move I will be able to get my sewing table set up and get sewing again. (All the same, I think it will be quite a while before I have enough free time to start taking quilting commissions again!)
These days, in the bit of spare time I do get, I am getting stuck into my journaling Bible. This you do not need a specific place for, I can do it sat on my bed during nap time or at the kitchen table in the evenings… So my Instagram is mainly me sharing life and photos of things that have inspired me in my journaling Bible rather than lots of sewing pictures. So when I get asked lots of questions and refer people to my blog for more info on my journaling Bible & supplies… They get a bit confused when they land on a sewing site! [By the same token, I imagine people who log on to sewcosy.co.uk having seen the address on a quilt label or business card are probably quite confused to see so much about journaling Bibles and not much about sewing!]
With this in mind I have decided to set up a new site for all my journaling Bible creations, with the long term goal of getting some cards and prints made too… But I’m not quite there yet, a work in progress – “bear with” 😜 so welcome to my new blog !
