This morning’s nap time looks like this: My journaling Bible, my Give Me Jesus Journal and my new book I treated myself to yesterday! (Seeing as my verse for 2015 is 1 Corinthians 14:1 “Pursue love, and earnestly desire the spiritual gifts, especially that you may prophesy.” I need to be living up to it – yes I’ve been pushing myself to step out more, but I need to also be investing in my calling!) I actually went into the Christian bookshop for another book, which they did not have but said they could order for me – but then this caught my eye. I was wondering if it was trustable as I’m not sure I’ve heard of Goll before, but the back has recommendations from Bill Johnson, Kris Vallotton & Ché Ahn – so I think I’ll be okay! 😊

Quiet time today

Making sure morning nap time is devoted to spending time with God has really changed my day to day life. I am a lot less stressed [even without doing all my chores first thing] and the rest of the day seems to flow a lot better. God has been saying a lot more to me and speaking into my life a lot more since I have been following this pattern too which is the best and most exciting thing!

So I’m off to read day 1 of this “21-day journey to embracing [my] calling”!!

Ps. if you haven’t discovered Gretchen’s Life lived beautifully ministry, go check her out! The “Give me Jesus” journals are beautiful and a joy to use. Her “Life Lived Beautifully journal” which is more of a weekly overview are also great and have really helped me be more intentional in my faith this year.
