It’s been an emotional and stressful 48hours – resulting in the doctor consulting with Obs & Gyni then sending me to an emergency appointment with the midwife – who, thank the the Lord, easily found a heartbeat and reassured me all was okay with baby! It’s been an emotional roller coaster, I feel exhausted and I really want hubby home from abroad now!! I think if he had been at home I wouldn’t have worked myself up into quite such a stew.
Once I knew baby was safe and well, had napped on a friend’s sofa after she administered Starbucks first aid – I did a bit of sewing and got the first front pocket sewn, quilted and even put the piping and lining on! So I now have my first side of the bag done. Feeling quite chuffed about that. Thankfully baby spent the afternoon kicking up a storm too, so I was doubly reassured they were happy and well. Daddy has come to stay for the weekend so I am not on my own, so it’s unlikely I will do any sewing – but hopefully I might locate a zip!
